The Vice President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama who was in Washington DC to meet with leaders at the World Bank, the IMF, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation found time out of his busy schedule to grant audience to
Prophet Kofi Adonteng Boateng , the Founder and leader of Divine Word Ministries International at the Embassy of Ghana. .

Prophet Kofi Adonteng Boateng's Divine Word Ministry in recent times have made tremendous amount of donations in support of charity projects in Ghana. The ministry recently sent a 10-member delegation to Ghana and donated items worth thousands of dollars to some orphanages in Kumasi and Accra. The team during the visit paid a courtesy call on the Vice president of Ghana.

It is therefore in light of this that ,I John Dramani Mahama the Vice President of Ghana granted audience to the Man of God and some leaders of the ministry to commend them for the gesture and their efforts to support such laudable projects in Ghana.

At the meeting the Vice President said "It really impresses me when I hear that that Ghanaian Groups from the diaspora have expressed the desire to donate to the less privileged in Ghana .The Divine Word Ministries International have proved that truly, they also have the welfare of such people at heart " .

His Excellency John Mahama lauded the ministry for their kind gesture and encouraged them to continue in their bid to support orphanages in Ghana and not make it a nine-day wonder. He went on to say that this is a clear demonstration that there are genuine ministries and men of God out there who have the nation of Ghana at heart.

The Vice President of Ghana John Mahama took the opportunity to urge the Ghanaians to be God fearing, law abiding, and respect their authorities.

The Ambassador of Ghana to the USA Mr. Daniel Ohene Agyekum also on his part called on Christians to let their lifestyle demonstrate that they are truly children of God and should let humility be their guiding light.

"I have heard much about the Prophet Kofi Adonteng Boateng's Divine Word Ministry International and how God is using him to heal the sick and providing assistance to the less privileged , I would like to implore him not to let the praises eat into his head but continue to humble himself in order not to derail from his cause " Mr Ohene Agyekum advised the man of God and his followers.
